Okay, so to the real purpose of this post. I was wondering about this since I watched the latest Shukudai-kun.

Is it not a common knowledge that the spicy part of a chilli/pepper is its seeds and not the peel? I mean, I've always known it since I was a child but the boys seemed surprised by the fact? And even Ogu-san knew it by a TV show :|

Or it is a common knowledge in countries where spicy food are popular?

I really need to know the answer because it confused me so much D:

And may I point out something, just for the sake of my country's cuisine. That? When Yossie said that the spicy part was unnecessary for the first dish? Well, I guess so.... because that is NOT how we eat it here honey.... (or not how I eat it. *is not good with spicy dishes*) I mean, we do eat the chilli, but not with every single bite. |D
